The last time I was in there was well before the closure. John was there, and we talked. I realized that the shop wouldn't be around a whole lot longer and, on the spur of the moment, bought several pairs of shorts rather than just one. I'm glad I did. I had known him since high school and bought my first pair of shorts, and perhaps my last, from him.
