I imagine with overtraining, every ride requires willpower and then you don't really enjoy it. Maybe like days I've had when I felt subpar before the ride to such an extent that I questioned whether it was a good idea to ride. Generally that feeling goes away within the first couple miles, but one day it was 20 miles before I really felt good.
Used to be 34 miles was a warm up. I state that, because I would do 34 miles on the way to the group ride. I don’t remember really eating much during my riding back then. All I ever had was water and I always felt fine. 34 miles now and I am done. That’s at zone 1-2
too which is even more frustrating. I’m not blasting away, havnt been for awhile.
