This weekend was supposed to be the Boulevard road race. Three 22 mile loops w 1,800' vertical per lap. But it got canceled... dang. Won it in 2023 in the 35+ race.

I was looking fwd to it, but for some reason this latest illness has kinda weighed on me, mentally. That coupled w the terrible two's hitting hard has just made things tough man. My training this season has been marred by constant upper respiratory infections. And a stomach bug in the middle for funsies. Hard times man. Time to take a step back and focus on riding for enjoyment and doing other outdoorsy things for a few months. Maybe I'll be healthier going into next season, we'll see.

Still racing the next few weekends (after this one). The final weekend is state champ/SCNCA TTT and I am looking forward to that. The Team Time Trial is such a cool/fun race. Not many races are cooperative. We will be visiting our fam in Rancho Cucamonga so maybe I will take after datlas and big john and ride around Baldy a bit on Sunday. I am thinking Glendora Mountain Road to Glendora Ridge Road then back down Baldy road. So not all the way to the top but that should be a solid, scenic loop
