My biggest bet was buying 1000 AAPL in 1995, when the company's continued existence was in doubt.
My biggest regret was reducing my shares of AAPL as the price rose, because I feared losing the gains in a downturn. Every time the price doubled, I sold half.
After all the stock splits, those 1000 shares would now be 112,000 shares.
Lieutenant Dan got me invested in some kind of fruit company. So then I got a call from him, saying we don't have to worry about money no more. And I said "good! - one less thing"
