Jughed ! I take it that the training paid off then, or you could comment about whether you will change some things the next time you do something similar.
Lots of low/slow miles with mixed in 8-15 min full gas efforts. I really focused on recovery and going easy.
Even with the flu, and a bad crash on my MTB -broken collar bone - where I missed a few weeks here or there - set all of my PB’s for power just before leaving.
Got lucky with my collar bone, broke in a good spot if there is such a thing… I’ve been riding with it for the past 8 weeks.
I will not change much - well, aside from the crashing part
