Waving and returning waves isn't even on my mind when I am out riding so it wouldn't be a problem for me. I don't feel obligated to wave or return a wave at every cyclist i may encounter during my ride.
That's not what your post suggested. You essentially wrote that you have never a problem because people don't wave.
