I stopped on my bike to help out a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon that was dead at a stoplight. Nothing I could do, got towed, turned out was the super-main fuse for everything, not easily accessible. Under warranty still. Owner said they had already replaced the whole dash, and the whole engine, both under warranty or recall. She was afraid to keep it past warranty, was going to sell it. You're right, reliability and quality ratings on Wranglers are terrible. The type of vehicle, may be used way out in the boonies, that
should be designed for high reliability. Fortunately the woman was a young RN, making piles of money, work steady then could take weeks off, so venturing far afield. Came from MN where snow was a thing; Snow in Seattle is extremely rare, and they close the steep streets.
