i wouldn't be so sure about that, there's zero reason you can't have an IC with future shock. what you can't have is internal cable routing with future shock. many roval ICs were made for external cable routing and worked very well with roubaixs and creos, which are the only drop bar bikes ever made with future shock. time will tell, but like the aethos 2 the SW trim may come with an IC and the comp certainly won't, in between, who knows.
