Rattlecan's not too cheap anymore! A suitable selection of 'appropriate' colors is gonna bite your wallet some & you'll have a lot of each color left in the can when you're done.
I'd prolly stickerbomb it as TT's suggested,
after finding and fitting a safer, proper stem.
