Is the derailleur new or old? You didn't say. Freshly mounted?


The most likely source of your problems is whatever you changed recently. Sounds like the crank. Is it actually mounted correctly so it can't drift laterally through the BB? Are the rings straight? Is it set to the proper chainline for a road front derailleur, or is it a wide crank like GRX? Did you put spacers under the BB cups or on the spindle?
