that may indeed be the case, from how it sounds. the other thing i know is that some say that colored tires in general don't hold up as well. i know i had yellow tires a while back (already on the bike when i got it. i'm not a yellow guy, but they looked cool), and they held up well on a road bike for a month or two. then it was flats galore. i started using mr. tuffys and slime tubes. still flatted. in one two week stretch, i had 3 flats. and no money for new tires. those are also the same ones as the aforementioned michelins.

*sigh* i guess i'll re-work my plans. those tires look nice, sucks to find out everyone's had as ****ty a time with such tires as i've had with colored tires myself.
