Yep, just like many motorists will nod their heads in agreement when someone expresses their "opinion" on the radio that cyclists shouldn't be cycling in the street (i.e. - have no business there) because of "the obvious risk" of such a "reckless" activity amongst motorized vehicles. Sound familiar?
The difference is that as cyclists ourselves, we are generally inclined to look favourably on our fellows, and we also are lot more knowledgeable about what constitutes good and bad cycling behaviour than most motorists are, so it's not some knee-jerk, prejudicial response.
