Some other ny trips ive made that are nice, west side path in the city, belt prkwy bike path once back in brooklyn, just to name a few. But if you want a long and challenging ride then take the grand challenge. It is the 5 bridge ride starting in queens at the triboro which you cross and then down and over the queensboro. head towards and, go over the willamsburg bridge back into manhattan. Once there go over the manhattan bridge, to brooklyn and then go back to manhattan via the brooklyn bridge. Then go all the way up to the g.w. bridge, and cross. I usally do it for training rides, becasue of the uphill work, but these bridges, not only are famous, but offer some great views.
