As genec pointed out, there are very, very few helmets here. I think it's a holdover from when everyone was riding together at about 10km/h, with no cars to watch out for.

The sound "eh" can be used in Chinese too, though not quite in the same way. But really I've lived outside of Canada for a large chunk of my life, and never picked up on the Canadian usage that much in the first place, eh?

Thanks and you're welcome. The mural is much bigger than what I could fit in that photo, but I was out of space on my camera by that time. It's pretty much what you would expect -- Study hard, promote education, work together, that sort of thing.
