If I could make that Taurus go as fast as my Cobra, and it had an amazing ride and a lifetime warranty, I don't think I'd be scoffing. Of course, I couldn't afford a $400,000 anything, but I suppose that's not the point.

But on the other side of the coin, what about the $400,000 Ferrari that didn't perform any better than the Taurus? It just had a fancy, exclusive-sounding name. Would any of us scoff at that?
