Was having some difficulty with pumping my bike tire with a schraeder valve. I hear the air coming out when the pump pushes down on the valve... but can't seem to make it stick.

Anyway, I might have pushed a bit too hard and now the valve is all the way into the tire. Have I broken the valve? Can this be fixed?
