Eastern Kansas noob here

Hi everyone, it feels great to get back into cycling. I had about a five year hiatus. As soon as I turned 17 and started driving, I stopped cycling. I had a Huffy mountain bike through high school that I beat to death. I still have it but it needs work. In February 2006, I decided I needed to get off my duff and bought a Trek 7.2 FX. I love this little hybrid. I've been putting an average of 20 miles a week on it. Mostly on the weekends. I have long days at work, but with daylight savings here now, that shouldn't stop me anymore. I can honestly say that during the last five years, I've been missing out. I have felt better these last few months than ever. Glad to be part of the forum and hope to learn all that I can from it.
