Depends on your riding position as to whether or not a Brooks B17 would be comfy or not. If you ride with the handlebars below seat level, you'll probably not want to go that route.

I have gone through 5 seats in the last 6 months or so, after finally deciding on the Specialized Toupe. I found it to be quite comfortable. The Specialized Alias isn't too bad, but my sitbones feel a bit weird after sitting on it for a few hours......not pain, but just not "right". It's been resigned to my trainer bike. The Toupe is a really good seat.
