I don't know if leaving early to put on extra miles is gonna work out for me. Thursday I did so, and popped a spoke, leaving me to wobble in to the station. Got a ride from a buddy from the station, Thursday evening. Rebuilt the wheel over the weekend. Mileage ~15 - five miles less than had I made my normal journey, without popping the spoke.

Today, I gve myself an extra 20-25 minutes, was riding for 10 minutes or so, when my light went into 'reserve' mode, indicating ~15 minutes of dimmish light - still 1:20 or so till sunup, so I moseyed home and hooked up the backup light, but not in time to guarantee hitting the station before the train left, so I chucked the bike into the pickup, drove to the station, rode the train, rode the bike from station to work, for a total of ~5 miles. Still saved the gas money, but didn't get the workout. Rebuilt rear wheel = schmooooov.

Still not sure the deal on the light. I thought I still had 2 hours of runtime on it till it needed charging again. I'm hopeful that I simply lost count, and haven't destroyed my battery.

Weather was stellar. 70°'s this morning, 90°'s this afternoon. 96° yesterday.

LAST Easter it snowed rather prettily. THIS easter we spent a good bit of time in the pool.
