Bikes: a loveably crappy one

hey, I was just at branch brook park in newark last saturday (not on my bike). it's gorgeous right now; all the cherry blossoms are out and it's a very pleasant place to hang out. definitely the nicest section of newark. but, it didn't appear to me to be the greatest place to ride, especially if you're intermediate or advanced, because there are a lot of slow walking people in the way, and it tends to wind in a ribbon. it does extend pretty far, though, all the way into the town of belleville.

it is not directly accessible from the path, it is located a few miles from downtown. however, there is a direct connection to the path via the newark city subway, which goes right next to the park. i'd say if you're into scenic rides and taking your time, it's great, otherwise, skip it.
