Is it single speed (no cassette, der's, shifters, freewheel of massive size, no multiple chin ring front etc....think of the weight just saved with that ). Missing all of those shifters and the entire front brake saves a lot of weight. Light frame with light wheels and a smooth riders on a single speed makes massive difference
