Today wasn't the best commuting experience I have had. On the way I my chain started skipping. 3/4ths of the way in I finally noticed that the inner plate on one of the links was beginning to work itself off the rivet. Fortunately, I made it to the office OK. I've left my car there so I was able to drive to a bike shop and get it fixed.
Then this afternoon I had two motorists pass me and immediately make right hand turns causing me to have to slow up. The first one was a lady in a camper. I pulled into the service station to discuss the situation with her but she wouldn't wind down the window. I think I finally convinced her that her made a mistake 'cause she looked apologetic and pointed to herself. The other guy had his window down so I just yelled at him as I went by. What is it with drivers that they can't wait 1-2 seconds until I'm past the side street?
