Bike Toolkits

I have a decent set of automotive tools, ie a good socket set, some nice chrome wrenches, and some ratchet wrences. This is usually enough to do what needs to be done on my bike, but there are a few things that cannot be done in a non-destructive manner with auto tools.

So I was on nashbar looking at the kits they have.

One kit goes for 40 bucks, one for 60 bucks and another goes for 100.

100$

15mm/ 9 1//6” pedal wrench,
a crank extractor,
cartridge BB tool,
a folding multi tool
a 13/14,15/16 and 17/18 mm double end cone wrench set,
cable cutters,
pro handle set of hex keys 8,6,5,4,3,2.5,2 mm and Torx T25,
four bit screwdriver,
an inner tube patch kit, tire levers,
metal ruler with spoke length gauge,
Nashbar Chain Master,
cleaning brush,
chain rivet tool,
Nashbar Chain cleaner,
a chain whip,
cassette lock ring tool,
head set wrench,
star nut installer,
chain ring bolt / dust cover tool (for these self extracting crank bolts)
a 10mm hex wrench,
3 way spoke wrench.

The above has a lot of stuff I really don't need. I don't need the chain cleaner, or chainmaster or even the hex wrenches and hex keys.

Next up is the $40 kit:

headset wrench(40/36/32/30),
2 cone wrenches(13,14,15,17),
socket adapter,
bottom bracket and freewheel tools
chain whip,
metric and american adjustable wrench
9/10 open end wrench,
universal spoke wrench,
3 plastic tire levers,
2/2.5/3/4/5/6/8mm allen wrenches
pedal wrench/ 14mm crank bolt wrench,
flat/phillips screwdrivers,
patch kit,
adjustable spanner,
crank extractor

40 dollar kit looks like exactly what I need.

I was wondering whether these tools are any good, and if anyone has any possible alternatives to be looked at?
