How does the $40 breakdown ?!??!?! The only thing I can think of is $15 tax, $5 brokerage. And then $20 for kicks?

Otherwise customs found that the package being marked gift wasn't so hot opened it and valued it themselves at around $200 or something and taxed it for that.

It should be like $60 cdn limit for no custom/duties if package is marked gift. Maybe next time split order into two? haha. They might get pissed though.
