Recently switched to road cycling from mountain. I have a good pair of Specialized S Works Mountain shoes and had the LBS throw on some Time pedals so I could use my mountain shoes on both bikes while I got used to the road bike.

Will I notice any benefit If I switch to similar quality road shoes and some dedicated road pedals?
Is it worth the money to change or should I just keep what I have?

Looking to do some long distance riding in the near future
