Ugh, I can't believe I'm going to post...Some of you will understand and some of you will never get it!

Perhaps the reason some people are Hypersensitive when skin color or race is mentioned is because they are constantly reminded of it. Nothing is more frustrating than to go out for lunch and watch women (White, Asian, Middle Eastern, Hispanic and yes some Black) clinch their purses like...

A) I want it!
B) they could stop me from taking it if I wanted it! One smack across the mouth and it's mine if I really wanted it.

On The Flip Side: I understand why women clinch their purses. There are individuals that won't hesitate to knock a woman unconscious for her purse and think nothing of it. It's just unfortunate that someone else makes ME look bad.

I suppose it's easy to pass judgment and pooh-pooh something you've never experienced though. When I walk down the street people don't see my Engineering Degree, they don't see I make better than 50K a year, they see a thug who might be looking to rob them. The fear is so obvious and it's "frustrating!"
