I met one person once on this message board...but that person wasn't a regular cyclist yet, just wanted to get together for more extensive "shopping" advice. Don't know where they disappeared to.

The only other person from my locality on this message board is Shadiyah, but since our bike routes I'm certain never cross, I can't be a stalker. The only "stalking" method open to me is this message board, and let's face it...when a girl starts getting unsolicited e-mails from unknown guys...that's just plain creepy. If she were a guy I'd actually be a bit more comfortable about sending a message just asking about rides or whatnot.

So, unfortunately, I can't be a bike stalker. And I have a feeling I may never actually meet anyone from this message board.

Which actually brings up an entirely different point. Would I want to? Some of the people here sound REALLY fast, and I may be forced to reveal just how slow I can be. Then I won't look nearly so cool.
