What percentage of household income?

Just curious. What percentage of your monthly gross household income did your most expensive road bike cost?

Monthly gross household income = your household income before taxes. If it varies, simply average it out.

Bike cost = exactly what you paid for your bike. This does not include accessories, upgrades or any of that. Just what you PAID at the counter for the bike at time of purchase. If you have more than one bike, use the bike that cost the most.

EDIT: Question relates to time of purchase. IOW, if you bought your bike in 1993, then what percentage was it then.

Also applies to full time workers only, 40 hrs or more per week, year round.
