Thanks, everybody, you helped me a lot. I would agree with fmw that "no frame is worth $2500", but the problem is that here, in Beijing, I don't have such a big choice, especially when it comes to titanium frames. Yes, there is a Chinese ti-frame, very cheap ($500), but kind of heavy and .... I don't trust their products anyway. And the rest is all carbon, mainly Trek, and outrageously expensive Look.

After having read all your opinion, I think it would be wise to wait a little, or buy something in Europe.
