I think it is more likely late sixties (a good shot of the downtube decal would help). I think that decal matches my 1967, but can't see it well enough, and my computer explodes the hi-res photo... Also shots of the head tube badge would help. Check the serial #; six digits usuall indicates 60's, 7 digits indicates 70s.

I believe the model is an AO, or an earlier version. Check to see if the derailleur hanger is integral, or a bolt-on claw. The crank is a later switch-out, it looks like the old three arm Stronglight cranks Peugeot used on some model in the late seventies.
