Crappers, I wish I'd known I could get the codeine over the counter yesterday! I would have stocked up! Oh well. I guess it's more motivation to head back to Canada again soon...

I had all 4 wisdom teeth pulled at the same time- the dentist said there was no other way, and he shot the painkillers into my jaw, then he gave me the codeine to take so when the painkillers wore off, the codeine would still be effective so I wouldn't have pain. Then he gave me some kind of ibuprofin that was heavy duty. By the time it was all said and done, I was just down for the count for like a day. I was good to go the next morning.

It turned out to be not as big of a deal as I'd worked myself up to thinking it would be.
