OT Question
I trust the people in this forum. Why? I don't know. But whatever...
The other day I came across a bike for $15. I don't need another junk bike so I bought it for the sole purpose that it had a Brook Team Pro on it. The idea was to take the saddle, put a crappy one on, and flip the bike for $30
So that's what's happening. The thing is, I'm getting calls from college girls about it since it's cheap and a ladies size. I hadn't planned on doing any work to it. Now though, I'm compelled to get the bike in good running shape before I give it up for a new home. Should I put the work into it or not? My fear is that someone would buy it and not fix it. It's not in bad shape. It needs cleaning bad and some oil and grease wouldn't hurt it. I want more bikes on the road, but I feel bad letting one out there that's is not entirely road-worthy. Is it my problem or not?
