I was getting my MTB tuned up at the local Sporting good store. It already had slicks on it and I was trying to get some of the dual suspension stuff tightened to the point of being non-bouncy because I felt I was losing energy to the sproing of the bike. While the guy worked on the bike, I took a Cannondale road bike off the rack and road it around the store.

I always hated road bikes... until I rode one.
