Bob's saga here is especially interesting because of all the bikes he bought and tried. That shows he went through some trials and tribulations. Also, he was very preoccupied--or even obsessed--with getting the right bike(s) to make this work.
The fact that he had to work night shifts in a NYC winter is also of interest. I think Bob needs to submit an article to Reader's Digest, at the least.
I'd love to see his as the first person Katie Curic interviews on her new 60 minutes gig!
