theres a kid in my neighborhood who rides around on a beater marushi steel bike thats too big for him and as aro bars. I knew his brother in highschool hes an oh k kid. I rode up to the local highschool today to do relay for life(do laps around the track at a dollar a lap for cancer i did 100 laps BTW HAH). Well i was kinda drawing attention since i was the only person there on a bike(chicks dig spandex). Lots of people were asking me questions, funniest of which was "do you know lance armstrong?" when this guy comes walking up ad says, hey man u wanna race? He was totally friendly about it so we agreed to do a sprint for 4 laps(1 mile). They cleared the track and we took off, i was suprised to find that he sprinted ahead of me about 10 bike lengths right off the bat(hes in jeans and a -shirt on a junyard bike) so i decided to take it bit more seriously. We kept the pace pretty fast and i drafted him till the beginning of the 3rd lap and went around. Starting sprinting at the beginning of the last turn and he was on a little bit slower than i was.


Point being, i was pushing hard and a fred almost kept up( i wouldnt say i dropped him). I think ive found my knave.
