I also ride the simular Zipp version...Zipp Z999's and for the same reason purchased a Z606 set so I can have various set-ups depending on wind conditions; Z999, Z909, Z808 and Z606...although I have ridden the Z999's on a windy day for my weekly TT and am gaining confidence with the deep dish front wheel compaired to the 404 clinchers I have. Given the choice I think the 606 set offers the best aero set-up along with the safest in windy days. I also would like to try the 606's on my road bike when I get time - which, like you was another reason for getting the 606's.
