I have the rustbuster on a beach cruiser. The "air" in Houston, when the wind is from the south or east, is a mixture of salt breeze from the Gulf of Mexico, and toxic chemicals supplied by Exxon Mobile and British Petroleum (six of the ten worst polluters in North America are within fifty miles of Houston).

The "rustbuster" still looks like new and works like new after two years.

On my other bikes, I use the cheapest SRAM chains I can find. Many of my bikes are old, and have mix and match drivetrains differing brands of chainrings and cog sets. The SRAM chains shift well on all of those bikes, and are long wearing on my six, seven, and eight cog bikes. I have no experience with chains designed for nine cog and ten cog bikes.
