Actually, I prefer the Thompson. You want the nose down you tighten the front bolt. You want the nose up you tighten the rear. There is a nice scale on the post as well. OBTW the Thompson stays up, which is kinda important
I believe I have resolved the issue actually...we will see tonight on a 42 miler. No I had a Thompson Elite that I slightly regret selling...the Pave SL is easier.
