Exactly cooker...there's no such thing as a skunk hop.

I commute both ways after dark a lot. I actually prefer it, because it is so much easier to spot and avoid interaction with any other vehicles. You can see them coming and alter your route if you like. But in truth, I have had no issues riding at night. Otherwise, I can out run and out maneuver just about anything other than a motorcycle if it comes down to that.
