Yea...my LBS wont sell me that post. LOL I went in asking for it first and they said 2 shop guys had the tops come disbonded from the carbon tube and suggested looking at something else. I trust these guys so I didn't push it...they didn't have any expierence on the Pave SL and my guess is that if anyone asks about it now they will steer them in another direction.
Can't say about the USE Carbon post, but I have the Alu one. Wanted the Ti post but for $189 I wasn't about to fool myself into thinking that the extra ton was buying much comfort! My carbon post is sitting around doing nothing - can't say I ever had any issues; it never slipped or showed any signs of stress at all. I just wanted a lighter post on the race bike.
