I'm building 36h Dura Ace high flange hubs into a set of street wheels and need to decide on a rim. I've already made up my mind on Velocity, b/c of their stellar customer service. Now I'm losing my mind over deciding on which rim to choose.

I'm leaning toward the aerohead b/c it's my understanding that it'll be a bit livelier, lighter, etc. but I dunno. Part of me wants to go DeepV b/c I know that you can smash the hell out of them and still come away with a useable rim.

Opinions of those who have ridden on all or more than one of these rims are greatly valued.

FWIW, I weigh around 160, give or take 5 lbs. depending on the season/beer and icecream habits. So I don't think it's even a factor, esp. w/36holes.

Aeroheads will be fine, especially with 36 spokes.
