After *****ing yesterday on another thread about the wind, guess what? Today dawned with nary a zephyr, brilliant sunshine and crystal blue skies. And quite warm, too, at around 14 deg C. Even the ominous Tasman Bridge was a bit more enjoyable. The Derwent River was flat calm (the lighting on the bridge at night casts an amazing reflection in calm conditions). Mt Wellington was sharply outlined against the blue. In all, a magnificant day.
And Jean, maybe the squeak is a creak and is coming from your stem, not a pedal. I have a stem that needs another shot of grease because it creaks when I stand to pedal uphill.
