Did you actually talk to Bonthrond or just veiw their website? The reason I ask is that I talked to them a couple of years ago about importing a cannondale bike. They told me they couldn't ship cdale back to the USA. Cdale wouldn't allow it. Maybe times have changed. I hope so. I would love to have the Vintage Nexus Headshock. Let us know what they say.

For all of you guys thinking the 50/50 and the street or the same you need to look at the frame geometry charts. You will see the 50/50 is more mtb geometry and the street is more road geometry. Not dishing the 50/50 but I prefer road geometry on a city bike. It gets the bottom bracket height lower which lowers seat height and makes it easier to get a taller handlebar height which makes for a more upright comfy seating position. Which is what city bikes are alll about.

Here is a link for the Vintage Nexus headshock. Brooks saddle, leather grips, headshock, EBB, dynamo, ETC cool http://gb.cannondale.com/bikes/06/ce/model-6SS1.html

Here is a link to show disc brakes on a nexus hub. Something I wish Shimano would offer stateside. http://gb.cannondale.com/bikes/06/ce/model-6BS1.html
