The grip shifters work and fit in the normal manner. Thats one of the advantages of trekking bars. Maybe Nashbar has run out of stock for the moment? I'm sure there are other suppliers out there with them. I use Modolo's trekking bars called "Yuma" bars and Modolo claim to be the originator of the design and actualy have quite a few variants on the basic design + different sizes.
