Silly him, he actually asked a question about part of fixed gear style/culture...
I didn't ask a question, I was trying to help answer it, but some people are just jerks.
Not that I have to vindicate myself, but to vindicate myself, I've been riding fixed for over a year. I have an early seventies Cinelli Pista, so I'm actually more of a vintage bike freak than a roadie. I do own a road bike though, a 1983 Bianchi Super Legerra Specialissima; but it's got all of those gears and brakes and a freewheel, so it's nowhere near as fun to ride. But hey, if I want to ride up the coast for sixty or seventy miles, I'm sure as hell not going to do it on my Cinelli. No brakes and Mt. Soledad do not mix.
