I know we are all different and I ride bikes offroad so it is probably a different sort of riding to what most do in any case. I would never fit a bar bag to any of my bikes-several reasons but the main one is that it affects the handling of the bike. I have tried allsorts of bags- and have settled out on a top bag fitted to a seat post mounted pannier. In fact- I have a couple of sizes for different uses but this does not affect the handling of the bike in any way. Admittedly it is not as convenient to get things out of this bag- but for safety sake- I think I would be stopping the bike to get anything out of a front mounted bag in any case.
