I can't decide if this one is numbskull or brilliant, but I do know that I wouldn't pay $250 for this frankenbike.

Ok, so say Mad Max was too intoxicated to drive his flat-black muscle car...what then? Dude would probably use something like this as his bar-bike:

The frameset is a stripped and re-painted (ghetto-style with automotive paint) Jamis Earth Cruiser. The wheelset is based around a Shimano Nexus 3spd internally geared hub (not sold with the stock Jamis), and the cockpit is all BMXed out with Crupi Cruiser BMX bars, Odessey Stem, and a Tioga MultiControl Downhill saddle. Best part of the bike however, is the MRP 1 inch Bottom Bracket converter that allows crappy 1 inch BB shells to house a cartridge BB. It doesn't stop there...attached to said cartridge BB are Campagnolo Athena Cranks and Kona DH pedals. Eat your hearts' out bike-tinkers.

If you're interested in getting around with ease and style, while not selling your soul to join the hords of single-speed and fixed-gear posengers then this is the rig for you. Comfort is king. Please call 617 513 6713 if you'd like to take it for a ride.

If my tech babble went over your head don't worry...take a look at the following photos and all will be explained.

p.s. - this thing can easily accomodate full wrap fenders for your winter riding needs and will fit just about anyone over 5'5"

* this is in or around N. Cambridge/E. Arlington
