I think this forum is going to change a lot of people. In MSN.com, there was an article on how we are having a record number of bankruptcies this year even after passage of new laws making it tougher to file! No where in the article was there any mention of how motorcar ownership was forcing these folks into bankruptcy but I can assure you, the majority of those filing are motorist.
I doubt that. I suspect that the majority of bankruptcy filings will be comming from home owners who bought more house than they could afford and financed with an Option ARM. They probably bought more car than they could afford too but their house is what will completely destroy their finances.
