Hi all....... My first post after lurking here for a few days. I had to remove one of my cranks to do some frame maintenance and when I reinstalled it I applied some grease to the taper. Since doing this I have read a number of posts advising against lubrication. Should I remove the crank and clean off the grease or can I leave it alone? What problems are caused by lubricating the taper?
