Can't agree with you more, I've come across some pro teams training for the Tour Down under in Adelaide Australia while driving the car and each time they have always reverted to single file and got out of the way and I've never been held up at all. On one occassion you could here the directeur sportif tell his guys to get out of the way, but maybe this was to protect them from a potential crash. That is why I have the ultimate respect for the pro's and sometimes none for those trying to emulate them, like the bunch of riders you experienced.
